Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions prior to booking one of our courses:

• Right to Cancel - Open Courses only

  A place on a course will only be reserved once full payment has been received. After making payment, if you need to cancel your course you can do so and receive a full refund if it is within 14 days from booking. After this time, refunds will be at the discretion of Trymfit First Aid. If you think there may be an issue with attending, please make contact with us at the earliest opportunity. We will not administer any refunds once a course begins, or 24 hours before its start time.

• Personal Information GDPR compliance

  Our courses are accredited and certificated and we therefore require students to bring photo ID such as a driving licence to verify identity. We will record your name and contact details along with details relating to which course you attended, the course date and course result. In line with GDPR we retain these records to 3.5 years. We do not share your information with external agencies or advertisers other than our accredited training body*

• Course Syllabus

  The syllabus has been designed for specific audiences in mind, predominantly providing statutory first aid training for adults (over 18) in the workplace. For bespoke training outside of this remit, please make contact with us.

• Number of Students

  We have a maximum of 12 students per trainer.

• Physical ability

  First aid training is physical, and requires students to demonstrate CPR to pass the course. If you are unable to get up and down off the floor then you will not be able to demonstrate the required competency level to pass the course. Please do not book, but make contact with us to we can talk through what is expected. If you have any health conditions which may affect your training then please let us know so that we can make suitable adjustments in good time.

• Personal Responsibility

  Please make sure you arrive at the training venue in plenty of time and come ready to learn. If you have any concerns on the day, then make sure you raise them with the trainer as soon as possible. We ask you to make sure any mobile phones or electronic devices are set to silent when training begins.

• Injury and Property

  Each venue will be risk assessed before the course begins and dangers removed or minimised. Trymfit First Aid is Public Liability insured. Please note that at training venues you are responsible for your own personal possessions at all times, do not bring high value items to your training course. Parking for courses, whether onsite or in local carparks will be at your own risk.

• Feedback Procedure

  We will seek your feedback on the course at the end of the event. Every trainer is re-accredited annually. If you have any complaints about the course then please bring it to the attention of the trainer on the day or email trymfit.co.uk@gmail.com marking it ‘complaints’. We will get right back to you and do all we can to resolve the matter.
